Dictionify: Terms of Service

Dictionify is provided by FREEOCLOCK LIMITED, a company registered in Hong Kong ("we"). By using Dictionify you agree to these terms.

The service

Dictionify gives short, AI-written explanations of text you select. Answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important with a reliable source. Financial explanations are general information, not investment advice.

Plans and payment

• New accounts get a free 7-day Pro trial, once per Google account; we also limit trials to one per browser. It ends by itself and never charges you; after it you're on the Free plan unless you choose to pay.
• The Free plan includes a daily number of lookups (words, phrases, passages and follow-ups), translations and examples, and a weekly number of Summaries and Polishes.
• Pro removes those limits, subject to fair use (currently up to 500 lookups, 500 translations and 500 examples, and 100 Summaries or Polishes a day, and 30 lookups a minute). Pro is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe until you cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds: if Pro isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. After that, you can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for; that period isn't refunded. This doesn't affect any rights you have under the law where you live.
• Deleting your account in Settings cancels your subscription straight away and ends Pro at once. If you delete it within 14 days of your first payment, email us for a refund.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

Fair use

Don't use the service to overload it, to resell it, or to process content you're not allowed to share. We may limit or close accounts that do.

Changes and availability

We may update the service and these terms. We'll aim to keep it available but can't promise it will always be. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
